We’ve all seen the instantly recognizable red-and-blue Reddy Ice logo in ice chests at countless grocery stores. But have you ever thought about where all that ice gets made — and stored?
Although Reddy Ice has facilities all over the country, the biggest is in Phoenix — and that means they need help making sure their workhorse facility always runs smoothly and efficiently. That’s where Apex comes in. Reddy Ice partnered with us to design and install a brand-new ice-making system that can produce more than 1.75 million pounds of ice in just one day. We also designed and installed the systems that store the ice once it’s made. Plus, we ensured the entire facility was up to code for the City of Phoenix, the Environmental Protection Agency and the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration.
